From October 10-12, 2012 the 7th International Supplier Fair (IZB) took place in the Allerpark in Wolfsburg. With the theme of the exhibition "Connecting Car Competence" more than 760 exhibitors of the automotive sector displayed their innovations. A quarter of the exhibitors were foreign, 60 of them from Argentina and Brazil alone. This was related to IZB’s "International Automotive Congress Argentina | Brazil" focusing on strategic challenges, concepts and solutions for the automotive manufacturers and suppliers in South America. Additional professional events, networking events and business meetings such as the Job Offers Day were included at the fair.

In Hall 5, GPM displayed a cross-section of its products portfolio. Here visitors could obtain information about function, application and advantages of GPM’s products. A functional model of an adjustable water pump simulating the ON/OFF-principle of the volume flow at cold start of the engine was available for viewing.
